There was only 500 Z06 CR.7s being made, but unfortunately we already have to mark down that number to 499. After sorting through a few stories, we’ve come to the conclusion that this is what actually happened. The customer who purchased this car had waited just over a year to see it. Before he even made to the dealer, and before the car was even prepped for delivery, an employee of the dealership totaled it. That employee is in the hospital, but expected to be ok.

This makes me angry.
A buddy that works at Ford making the F-150 said if he could order it they allow a walk through at the plant, so on your day off, you walk along your truck the whole 15 hours it gets made and you get to drive it off the line.
That's about the only way I would want to order a car like this Vette. I wouldn't trust anyone.

That right there would be awesome. I like the builder’s package they had on the ZR1. Go assemble the engine and then you can pick it up from the museum.
This would just be icing on the cake.

They did that with C6 Vettes, not sure if theyre still doing it. I think it was called Assembly Plant Delivery or something like that. They would also let you take part in assembling the engines.

There was another vehicle in this accident - any info on what happened? Although I’m inclined to believe the person in the corvette caused it, I’m also curious to find out what role the other car had.

Wow, this is only 10 min from my house where this happened, about a mile south of the Chevy dealer. Apparently they were taking it to get the Windows tinted, the place most of the dealers on the west side of town use for tinting is east of the dealer so I’m not sure why the car would have been here (hint-draw your own conclusions)
